There Were Many Who Caught Her Fancy
There were many who caught her fancy,
Even more who's fancy she caught.
Yet when the time called for it,
she was stuck wondering if her decision was right or not.
The first one she always thought of,
was the one that made her laugh
Yes, he was then, just a friend
But then again, who was not?
Even more who's fancy she caught.
Yet when the time called for it,
she was stuck wondering if her decision was right or not.
The first one she always thought of,
was the one that made her laugh
Yes, he was then, just a friend
But then again, who was not?
There were many who caught her fancy,
Even more who's fancy she caught.
Yet when the time called for it,
she was stuck wondering if her decision was right or not.
The second always a smile to her face brought,
he was simply amazing
he brutally broke her heart,
and even after that, his smile, to her, yelled forget me not!
There were many who caught her fancy,
Even more who's fancy she caught.
Yet when the time called for it,
she was stuck wondering if her decision was right or not.
And then there came the only one who had ever made her cry,
she had once believed he was the one.
He brought her the love she craved,
even more, the complexities she sought.
There were many who caught her fancy,
Even more who's fancy she caught.
Yet when the time called for it,
she was stuck wondering if her decision was right or not.
She finally took a decision,
with her mind, and a heart not.
After all, look at the tears and smiles
That the swaying of the heart brought!
There were many who caught her fancy,
Even more who's fancy she caught.
Yet when the time called for it,
she was stuck wondering if her decision was right or not.
Now, she felt a little lost,
suddenly a lack of all the attention she sought.
She focussed her energies on pleasing the one she chose,
"This is my life, and I love it!" she thought.
There were many who caught her fancy,
Even more who's fancy she caught.
And now that her mind was made,
she was glad her decision was right, and her doubt not!
